One week. One city. Infinite possibilities. Sac Tech Week is a decentralized, citywide celebration of innovation — founders, startups, technologists, creatives, investors, students, and community leaders across the capital region.

Workshops, panels, demos, art experiences, startup showcases, and gatherings hosted throughout Sacramento. No badge scanners. No hotel ballrooms. The city is the venue.

    AI Film Lab

    A curated short-film showcase: twelve AI filmmakers and twelve youth creators from the AI Film Lab Summer Program, exploring storytelling where creativity meets artificial intelligence.

  2. [ 02 / STW ] Showcase Urban Hive / 12,000 sq ft

    Startup Marketplace

    The central showcase of the Capitol Region Innovation Summit — product-ready startups from across the ecosystem in a booth-style floor highlighting the builders, tools, and ideas shaping the region's future.

  3. [ 03 / STW ] Projection art Urban Hive / Free + open to the public

    B.Y.O.B.

    Bring Your Own Beamer — a projection-mapping showcase from multiple artists, turning space into a living canvas of light and motion. Twice daily over three days, with live music, up to 200 guests per showing.

    Kickoff Breakfast

    Sacramento State of Innovation — the week opens with leaders across government, academia, and industry, and keynote insights on the state of innovation in the region.

  5. [ 05 / STW ] Grand finale Urban Hive / 30,000+ sq ft / 500+ attendees

    Capitol Region Innovation Summit

    The grand finale: a full-day exploration of what's next, with workshops, panels, live demonstrations, fifteen-plus activations, and a marketplace of emerging ventures.
